New timetables for Supertram from 12th April

With Monday 12th April being the next stage in the government’s roadmap to easing restrictions, Stagecoach Supertram have announced that they will introducing new timetables from that date which for the Purple and Yellow routes will see the return of the full timetable.

It may be normal frequencies throughout the day for the Purple (half hourly frequency) and Yellow (every 12 minutes most of the day Monday-Saturday, every 10 minutes at peak times and every 20 minutes at all other times) routes but for the Blue route and the Tram-Train service they will continue to run at reduced frequencies.

The Tram-Train service continues on its two services an hour frequency throughout the week with the usual start and finish times.

As for the Blue route this will continue to be running every 15 minutes for most of the day with some additional peak time services also running on the route. The 20 minute evening service also continues Monday to Saturday. Its also every 20 minutes throughout the day on a Sunday.

This is the latest step towards normality for Supertram and we’re keep you updated if and when the Blue route and Tram-Train service also returns to a pre-pandemic timetable in the future.
