In Pictures: New look for West Midlands Metro 19

We mentioned at the end of last month that the last of hybrid liveried trams on the West Midlands Metro had finally got the full blue livery and now we show you the finished product! Urbos3 19 received the full blue vinyls at the end of February while still retaining its external adverts for Marks Electrical. Andy Walters captured the following image.

It was May 2019 that 19 first received the hybrid livery between the original Magenta and Silver Network West Midlands livery and the all blue West Midlands Metro colour scheme when it became the 20th Anniversary tram with special vinyls to commemorate this key anniversary. When this livery was removed in July 2020 the tram still didn’t receive the full blue livery and then the following month adverts for Marks Electrical were applied, still with the silver/blue base livery. Fast forward to February 2021 and finally the silver sections received the blue vinyls. The adverts for Marks Electrical were also kept on the tram.
