Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 262

In this “Lockdown Walks” we head back to the Scottish capital once more as we have another view in the city centre.

Tuesday 9th February saw snow in Edinburgh although it caused no adverse effect for the trams with no significant disruption reported. After heavy snow a few minutes earlier the below photo was captured with sunshine and blue skies and just a little evidence of the snow on the ground around the tram.

This is no. 262 which is approaching the terminus at York Place in front of St Paul’s and St George’s Church (on the right). 262 remains advert free and has retained its end masks too. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood, 9th February 2021)
