Around the World in Trams: Berlin 2222

We take a further look at the trams running in Berlin with this latest edition of our worldwide tram series.

2222 is terminating on route 60 at Johannisthal Haeckelstrasse and is about to take the loop and head back to Friedrichschangen/Altes Wassererk on 3rd February 2017. This tram was built in 2001 by Bombardier and was originally numbered 2022. Classified as a GT6N-ZR it remained in this condition until the very end of 2016 when it went through the works and emerged as a GT6Zo while receiving its current number of 2222.
