Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 276

Its time for another “Lockdown Walk” today and the location is again central Edinburgh.

This photo is taken just as things were starting to pick-up again following the initial lifting of lockdown restrictions in Scotland. In comparison to a lot of the previous photos we have featured in this series, Princes Street is a bit busier with a taxi, van and several buses visible around the tram and in the distance. There even seem to a couple of runners on the far side of the road.

In this photo we see 276 – complete with advert for Parabola – on Princes Street at the South Charlotte Street junction. The next stop will be West End as it operates a York Place to Airport service. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood, 8th June 2020)
