We take a break from Blackpool trams today as we feature the only operation horse tram in the UK – Sheffield 15.
Sheffield 15 has been the sole operational horse tram at Crich for a number of years now and 2019 saw it run on various dates throughout the year on special “Horse Tram Days” with regular horsepower, Joseph continuing to visit the museum to haul the tram along the museum street to just beyond the depot entrance.
One of the Horse Tram Days in 2019 took place on Monday 15th July and this photo shows Joseph starring straight ahead as Sheffield 15 is about to move forward to turn round and then head for its next working.
Later on the same day and we see 15 here passing a visiting vintage car as it heads back down to Stephenson Place.
