We are back at Laxey today as we once again look at some images showing both the Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway together in the station.
A scene busy with passengers on 8th September following the arrival of MER 6+60 with a northbound working to Ramsey. Snaefell’s no. 1 stands alongside awaiting departure.
The following day and it is trailer 60 again which can be seen on the right. This time Winter Saloon 22 is in charge whilst the SMR car is no. 2.
Snaefell Mountain Railway 1 stands at Laxey Station just as MER pair 19+44 head off north to Ramsey. (All Photographs by Gareth Prior)
