More traffic changes in Oldham as work continues on Metrolink extension

From Thursday 8^th November there have been changes to the traffic management around Manchester Street roundabout in Oldham town centre as work continues to construct the Metrolink extension due to open in 2014. As a result of these changes the northbound slip road from Manchester Street roundabout joining Middleton Road and Oldham Way northbound will be closed and the previous closure restricting traffic joining the roundabout from the town centre has been removed. It is anticipated that these current closures will remain in place until the end of January 2013.
