Picture in Time: Snaefell Mountain Railway 4

Today we feature an image from the Snaefell Mountain Railway shortly after nationalisation.

In the frame here we see no. 4 which carries the green and white nationalised colours. The simple livery is seen to good effect with no lining and the standard Snaefell Mountain Railway legend on the side. Also of note here is that the tram features a centre roof advert board. 4 carried the nationalised colours between 1958 and 1963.
