In Pictures: Edinburgh Trams 276 goes all Christmassy

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a tram in standard fleet livery in Edinburgh now with just nine of the 27 strong class of CAF trams carrying the house colours. The latest tram to receive special vinyls is 276 which is publicising Edinburgh’s Christmas 2017 with various pieces of artwork designed by local schoolchildren adorning the side of the tram.

As has become standard practice the vinyls cover the full height of the third and fifth sections of the tram which roof level adverts also featuring along the other sections. The middle section’s roof level adverts are fairly standard fare – with the addition of a few snowflakes – with the other sections being more in style with the theme of Christmas. Edinburgh’s Christmas Market opened on Saturday 18th November with the Big Wheel, St Andrew Square ice rink and Star Flyer Ride all also now operating.

276 travels along Princes Street for York Place showing off its new vinyls.
