A fairly modern image for you tonight for the latest installment of Picture in Time as we once again head up to the Blackpool Tramway and catch a pair of trams running along Lord Street in 2009 – Balloon Car 719 and Brush Railcoach 622.
This image was taken on 23rd September 2009 and shows 719 – after it had lost its advert for Pleasure Beach’s Infusion ride and was running in this pale blue livery with adverts for Donna’s Dream House, whose name it also carried, running from Pleasure Beach to Fleetwood. 622 is also caught on camera as it approaches the camera with a service heading to Pleasure Beach from Fleetwood. At this time 622 was carrying an attractive all over advert for Pontins.
