In a change of format for 2005 BRITISH TRAMS ONLINE are proud to publish a brief review of the tram events of 2005. Not every event from the past year is covered and some of the photos aren't exactly earth shattering news but every photo on the following eight pages have never been seen on BRITISH TRAMS ONLINE! Jubilee 762 received an overhaul, reshape and new livery during 2005. The tram carries one of the better new ads for the year for Unison and was captured at Gynn Square on 10 September 2005.

Blackpool OMO 8 finally left the Rigby Road depot in December following a repaint and general cosmetic overhaul to go the LTT's own depot. The tram is seen in the Plum and Custard livery outside the Blackpool Transport offices whilst being prepared for departure.

One of the stars of 2005 was Blackpool Conduit 4 which was dusted down, its batteries recharged and sent out for demonstration runs during the TMS' 50th Anniversary Year. On Tramathon day, 12 June 2005, 4 is seen at Town End.

The first full year back in service for Blackpool Toastrack 166 was seen in 2005. The tram is seen here after a days hard work at the Tramathon on 12 June at the depot.
