In a change of format for 2005 BRITISH TRAMS ONLINE are proud to publish a brief review of the tram events of 2005. Not every event from the past year is covered and some of the photos aren't exactly earth shattering news but every photo on the following eight pages have never been seen on BRITISH TRAMS ONLINE! Thanks to all the regular contributors who have let their photos on the site during 2005, some of which are featured here!

Back in service during the year was Coronation 660 after a mini overhaul and repaint. This photo shows the tram at Manchester Square on 10 September 2005.

The final Twin set to receive an ovrhaul and repaint was 685+675 which became the second tram to be revealed in the Red and Yellow Metro Coastlines livery (Balloon 724 is the other). The set is seen approaching Starr Gate whilst on the Fleetwood service on 5 September 2005.

A new all over advert was received by Balloon 701 for 2005, for Palm Beach Hotel. The same Hotel also have an advert on Centenary 645. 701 is seen at Cleveleys on 8 September 2005.

Another "busy" all over advert was received by Balloon 709, this one for Sealife Centre. The tram was caught on camera at Manchester Square on 8 September 2005.
