Gallery 917: Around the World in Trams Special - New York Museum of Transportation


With a restoration having been completed on Genesee and Wyoming Railroad Caboose 8 it is now located in the "new" car barn along with the operational trolleys. Built in 1914 by the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad it had been sold to the Genesee and Wyoming Railroad in the 1930s and remained active until 1977 when it was donated to the New York Museum of Transportation.
