Gallery 743: Tyne and Wear Metro Central - June 2018

In the first of three Photo Galleries from the Tyne and Wear Metro we take a look at the central zone including both images of the trains and also of the various different designs of station which can be found across the network. The central zone is taken to be Zone A of the payment zones bounded by South Gosforth in the north to Felling south of the River Tyne and as far as Walkergate east out of the city centre. This includes much of the underground section through the city centre before it emerging into the open. We also see trains heading over the River Tyne.
