| Gallery 743: Tyne and Wear Metro Central - June 2018 |
 This is 4030 at the back of a service to St. James departing from Ilford Road station. This station didn't exist prior to the takeover of this former suburban British Rail line for Metro services; it was a brand new station when opened on 11th August 1980 (with the first stage of the Metro from Tynemouth to Haymarket via Benton), added to the line between the existing stations at West Jesmond and South Gosforth. |
