Around the World in Trams - The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum 2024 Trolley Fair

3756 is a P.N. Jones designed low floor single end "Peter Witt" type car which was built as Pittsburgh Railways 3756. It was built by Osgood-Bradley during 1925, this car rides on two Standard M25 trucks which each mount two Westinghouse 514P traction motors. This car has a Westinghouse HL29A control group. This car was built to the Pennsylvania Trolley gauge. This was one of twenty-five cars purchased for service on the Washington and Charleroi interurban lines; it was removed from this service during 1928 due to its lack of speed. During World War II this car was rebuilt as a double ended car and had an off side door added for service on Route 23 on Neville Island. This car was retired during 1954 and conveyed to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. This car has been used in Pittsburgh on occasions since entering preservation.
