20 Photos of... Manchester Metrolink T68s


Back to the old layout at G-Mex which featured two staggered platforms as we see 1004 accelerating away from the stop on its way to Altrincham. Whilst the tram represents the earlier corporate identity in the background we can see that the yellow is starting to take over on various signage. 1004 is another scrapped tram with it being moved to Rotherham on 25th April 2014. Looking further back to its key dates and it was delivered on 27th November 1991 before entering service on 6th April 1992. It just managed over 20 years in service with official withdrawal happening on 16th May 2012.
