20 Photos of... Manchester Metrolink T68s


1023 pulls into Altrincham on 29th March 2010. The tram carries the latter fleet livery which included the turquoise doors to aid accessibility making it more obvious where the doors were located. 1023 is one of the lucky ones and is in fact the only one of the T68s which can be seen regularly with it being displayed at the Crewe Heritage Centre. This tram arrived in Manchester on 18th March 1992 and then carries its first passengers on 11th May 1992. Withdrawal came on 21st January 2014 and it was the last of the T68s to leave Metrolink property (so far with 1007 still being at Trafford Depot) on 19th March 2020 for Crewe.
