20 Photos of... Manchester Metrolink T68s


On 19th November 2010 we see 1022 calling at Heaton Park with a Bury to Piccadilly service. The tram - named "POPPY APPEAL" - also has window advertising at a time when vinyl wraps had yet to be seen en masse on the network. 1022 was delivered on 5th March 1992 and entered service on 27th April 1992. It was one of the last T68s in service when it was officially withdrawn on 10th February 2014 and was acquired by UKTram for testing purposes with it moving to Long Marston on 8th August 2014.
