20 Photos of... Manchester Metrolink T68s

Scrapped tram and scrapped tramstop combine in this photo taken 7th September 2009. 1005 is arriving at Woodlands Road with a service which seems to be going only as far as Victoria. The tram has very faded "THE RAILWAY MISSION" name stickers. The stop itself would finally close on 16th December 2013 after the opening of Queens Road (and with Abraham Moss having opened a couple of years earlier). As for 1005 after delivery on 4th December 1991 it entered service on 6th April 1992 and would then be withdrawn on 22nd June 2012. Movement for scrapping came on 25th June 2014.
