What a lovely photograph of Town End. Alongside B&F Rack 2 we see the much respected Merlyn Bacon who was for many a figurehead in the early days at Crich. I remember with pleasure being taught to drive trams by him in his relaxed style, sitting back in the saloon of the tram with his pipe. Happy days!
