| Gallery 946: Picture in Time Special - Trams at Beamish |
 We appropriately start this collection with the first tram to arrive at Beamish - Gateshead 10. Captured in 1981 we see the tram here with building work taking place alongside the tram - this is 40 years ago and this view shows just how much development there has been since at the museum, development which continues to this day. 10 entered service in 1973.
