Gallery 789: Around the World in Trams - The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum 2018 Trolley Fair

Port of Allegheny County Transit M283 had originally been built for Pittsburgh Railways in 1929 as a crane car. It became part of the PA Transit fleet in 1964 as part of the local reorganisation of transport and it had a small rebuild in 1973 with a new cab added. It was withdrawn from service in 1988 and arrived at Pennsylvania Trolley Museum the following year.
