![]() A couple of years later and its 10th June 2007 at Wakebridge for this shot of Glasgow 1297 arriving from Glory Mine with the conductor all ready to exchange the single-line token. 1297 remains on site at Crich but hasn't operated since 2007 when it was withdrawn with a failed motor. The Crich website tells us it still has its original asbestos covered wires and cables which would add complexity to any efforts to return it to service in the future. |
