Edinburgh Trams - February 2025 |
In this collection we take a look at some of the goings on which took place on the Edinburgh Trams system during February 2025.
February is often a fairly busy month for the system as it marks the start of the 6 Nations Championships. With Scotland home matches taking place at Murrayfield Stadium which has a handy tramstop located adjacent to it, the trams run an intensive service before and after kick-off to get the thousands of spectactors to the games which are all sold-out. During February 2025 Scotland had two home matches (which saw Scotland beat Italy but were defeated by Ireland) and we feature images from both of those days in this collection. There were also three days during the month when a split service was operated on the network because of trackworks taking place at York Place. This was from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th February and we see some of the unsual moves which happened during this period at both Balfour Street and West End. And we also take a look at a few other sights on the tramway during the month as well. |
Photographer: Roy Calderwood Photographs were taken between Saturday 1st and Thursday 27th February 2025. |
