Of course, January 2024 saw Beamish welcome a new permanent resident as Lisbon 730 arrived from Birkenhead. After arrival it was placed into the depot where work will take place to prepare it for a return to service – initially in its Lisbon livery but it will eventually received a more local livery. Its seen in the depot here with Newcastle 114 on the left hand side and behind that is the protective sheeting which still covers Gateshead 10.
