One of the original batch of CAF trams, 22 is a tram which has been stored at the depot for quite some time and hasn’t been used in service for over 12 months now. Last time it was seen in service it carried a full vinyl wrap advertising the Metro Training Academy but this was removed in February 2023 and since then it has remained stored in the sidings at the depot. That’s where we see the tram – with coupler covers raised – on 2nd January 2024.
Turns out this was withdrawn when it suffered an articulation fault. It is likely this will remain stored for some length of time as it is used for a spares source
