Much of the Supertram network was built with steep gradients and this is no more apparent than on the Blue route in the Park Grange area. With the steep slopes here it gives some excellent photo opportunities and on this occasion there was an added bonus as trams passed heading in opposite directions. The aim was to get a tram heading out of the city towards Halfway and that was 102 which we see climbing towards us. But just as that was happening 399 207 is going the other way to provide two trams for the price of one in one photo! (Photograph by John Whittingham, 24th May 2023)
