Ideally situated for photos when you’re just heading to Manchester Piccadilly for a train home after a day “on the trams” the bridge which links the station approach to Piccadilly Place is a good location to capture images of trams from above. This photo shows one of the newer M5000s to have entered service – 3144 – as its on the final approach to the undercroft which is where the Piccadilly Metrolink is located.
