The third of the Tram of the Year (Traditional) nominees is Bournemouth 85. Having officially become part of the national collection at the end of 2016 85 had remained at the former Museum of Electricity whilst plans were made for its transport north to Crich with it arriving a few weeks before Tram Day. Before it was moved into the Great Exhibition Hall it was displayed on Tram Day on the Traverser as seen here. 85 is of course a 3'6" gauge tram adding a valuable piece in the story of British trams.
