As voting starts for "Tram of the Year" we start our look at the contenders for the Tram (Traditional) of the Year on the front page over the next few weeks. With six contenders this year we don't have enough weeks to show all of them so start with a joint image of the two Blackpool Brush Cars nominated. In front we have 621 just departing from Hopton Road to go onto the Prom for its first passenger runs since 2004 with fellow nominee 623 at the head of the queue behind of the remaining Brush Cars. This is 22nd September 2017, the day of Brush Car Cleveleys flyers specials.
