Sunday 28th August saw the reopening of the St Peter's Square stop on Manchester Metrolink after a 14 month closure. During this period the stop has been extensively rebuilt with two island platforms now in place in preparation for the opening of the Second City Crossing in 2017. This view shows 3078 - showing its rainbow spots in recognition of Manchester's Pride Event - in one of the island platforms as it forms a service to Ashton-under-Lyne on the first day of services.
