| Picture of the Week photos archive 2016 |
 Monday 30th May saw the opening of the Midland Metro Birmingham City Centre extension to Grand Central after much delay. This week's cover photo shows that first day as 26 approaches Corporation Street with an inbound service to Grand Central. The photo also shows the staggered platform arrangement here to good effect with the tram just approaching the inbound platform as it passes the outbound platform. Photograph by Andy Walters |
