 The Douglas Horse Tramway returned to operation on Saturday 30th April for its 140th anniversary season - a season which for a time during the early part of 2016 looked as if it wouldn't happen following Douglas Council's decision to abandon the service. The first tram to run in service this year was 44 and it is that tram which we find later on the same day with Philip providing the horse power.
