On 8th April 2012 and we are at the new Lakeside terminus with two trams waiting to head back down to Middleton Road. The familiar sight of Manchester 765 is on the right but on the other side is Blackpool 623. Only entering service in January 2012 this tram was acquired following the breaking up of the traditional Blackpool Tramway fleet and had spent a period at the Museum of Museums at the Trafford Centre along with Balloon 702 between leaving Blackpool and arriving at Heaton Park.
