Gallery 947: Around the World in Trams Special - Hiroshima Electric Railway


This view, taken on 6th April 1999, shows 807 with a route 6 service crossing the busy junction at Kamiya-cho as 3901 passes the other way. This junction is a very busy one tram wise as it is in the centre of Hiroshima. Also note that Japan, unlike most countries with no direct contact to the UK, drives on the left. You can also see the many, many wires for telephones, electricity supply etc. are strung all over the place.
