Another feature of that April 2010 event was the repainting of Blackpool 31 from its familiar Red, White and Teak livery into this Green scheme, along with renumbering it 4 to mark the period in its life when it became a Works Car in Blackpool. Unfortunately, the tram wasn't ready for the first tram of the event and so a quick dash to Beamish on the way home on 16th April (thank goodness for the Beamish Unlimited tickets!) captured this image of the tram in the sun in the Town.
