Gallery 938: Around the World in Trams Special - Pennsylvania Trolley Museum Trolley Fair 2019

The final Parade of the event featured Pittsburgh Railways passenger cars with saw six trolleys run past for photos and the usual description of their history. The cars which took part did so in chronological order of their construction starting off with 1905 built Pittsburgh Railways Company 3487. Delivered by the Saint Louis Car Company it was converted to an Emergency Car in 1934 (renumbered M132) and was then restored to a passenger car in 1956 by the Pittsburgh Electric Railway Club before it arrived at the museum in 1960. As a bit of trivia it dates from the era before the city of Pittsburgh added the letter "h" to its name!
