Gallery 917: Around the World in Trams Special - New York Museum of Transportation

We start a look at some of the vehicles in the collection now with this view of Buffalo, Lockport and Rochester Railroad 206. In store at the museum this car was built in 1908 and would remain in service until 1931. It was subsequently sold on for further use and found itself as a cottage in Knowlesville. This was where it remained until 1999 when it was acquired by the Rochester Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society and moved to the Rochester and Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. 2009 saw it moved to the New York Museum of Transportation.
