In this gallery we take a look at the scene on both the Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway in 2001 and 2002. With it being 18 and 19 years ago there are many sights which you can't see on the Isle of Man today including the old Summerland complex dominating the backdrop at Derby Castle. On the tram front we see 2 in blue livery, 22 in its controversial bus livery and 19 in a version of the Douglas and Laxey Coast Electric Railway livery. One of the highlights featured in this collection is 31 which ran for the last time during 2002 and we see it extensively at various locations along the line during a tour for the Isle of Man 50 Group. On top of all that we see many other trams in service between Derby Castle and Ramsey and we don't ignore the Snaefell Mountain Railway either with some views at Laxey and at the Summit.
