Gallery 905: Picture in Time Special - Isle of Man 2001 & 2002

For a time in the early 2000s anyone waiting for a tram at Derby Castle could do so - in a tram! The ill fated move of Lisbon 360 from Portugal to the Isle of Man for a hoped for use in service had by this time been abandoned and the tram had been confined to becoming a shelter from 2000. This 10th May 2001 view shows the tram in place (without trucks). It would only remain here to early 2002 when it was removed and then stored before being sold into private ownership. It has recently headed across to Ireland.
