| Gallery 885: Picture in Time Special - Isle of Man 1996 |
 Originally conceived as the centrepiece of the Centenary of the Snaefell Mountain Railway the previous year, in the end "Maria" - a replica of the locomotive which used to be used to transport freight up the mountain - was not completed until 1996. With some cosmetic jobs still to be completed in this photo we see the replica alongside Snaefell Mountain Railway 5 at Laxey. |
