Gallery 789: Around the World in Trams - The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum 2018 Trolley Fair |
Pittsburgh Railways 1711 is a PCC car and was constructed post-war for use on the interurban lines to Washington and Charleroi. It remained in service through the takeover of the line by Port of Allegheny (PA Transit) on 1st March 1964 and was finally withdrawn in August 1988. Moving to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in April 1990 it soon received a restoration with another restoration following in 2001 by Adtranz. |
