We now move along to the Trafford Centre itself where significant work has been completed on the revised road layouts and most of the intrusive track installation is complete. Looking back towards Parkway in the distant background we can see the roadside track adjacent to Event City. Beyond the grey Holiday Inn building in the distance the route curves left to access the Bridgewater Canal Bridge mentioned earlier. The concrete foundation slabs for Event City stop can be seen in the foreground and the short section of straight track leads under the footbridge before curving across the road.
