| Gallery 764: Blackpool Anniversary Spectacular - 20th to 23rd September 2018 |
| Now an annual fixture in the tram special events calendar Blackpool's Anniversary Spectacular again took place over the third weekend in September with the usual intensive tram service in operation plus trams on display at Rigby Road (along with free heritage bus trips and behind the scenes tours at Rigby Road and Starr Gate depots). This collection actually starts on the evening of Thursday 20th September with a few images of Illumination Tours at the end of a wet day. We then continue through Storm Bronagh and a special two car heritage service on Friday 21st September and more Illumination Tours before we arrive at the main event. Extensive photos are provided of the various trams running over the two days alongside the core service in the hands of the Flexity2 trams (more coverage of the Flexity2s will follow in a future update). The coverage ends on the evening of Sunday 23rd September with images from more Ilumination Tours incluidng B fleet Balloons 711 and 719.
