Gallery 725: Luas - 20th March 2018 |
In this set of photos we take our first look at Dublin's Luas network since the CrossCity line - in effect an extension of the Green line - opened in December 2017. Since the opening of the extension reliability of the service has been an increasing issue for regular travellers on Luas recently further exacerbated by the withdrawal of the first two of the longer 55 metre trams. And on this day issues were also experienced after the failure of 5024 which had to be pushed by 5005 out the way providing the rare sight of two trams coupled together. This collection also shows other sights of Luas on both the extended line and those existing lines. |
