Gallery 649: Crich Tramway Village Open Day - 5th November 2016

On Saturday 5th November, a special open day was held at Crich Tramway Village for supporters of the museum, comprising members of the Tramway Museum Society and other organisations which have helped to fund projects at the museum, as well as the local community. An enhanced tram service was operated primarily using cars that had benefited from the generous support of these groups over the years. In addition, the workshop was open to visitors, items from the archive collection were on display, and some of the non-operational trams were opened up to view. All of this made for an excellent day and the photos in this gallery aim to offer a small flavour of what happened.

Photographs in this collection were taken by Gordon Burch/Crich Tramway Village & Andrew Waddington on 5th November 2016.
