The annual Tram Day at the Crich Tramway Village saw the museum celebrate changes to the collection with one tram leaving the national collection and another two trams and an object becoming official members of the collection. The main star of the day was Oporto C65 - a coal tram - which had been in off site storage since arriving in the UK back in 2005. This tram was being transferred to Beamish where it will be returned to operational condition and C65 features extensively in this gallery. It was part of two photo line-ups with the morning seeing a Works Car theme and in the afternoon it was posed alongside fellow Oporto trams 9 and 273. We also see the tram two days later as it heads away from Derbyshire for the northeast. Also in this collection we see most of the other trams which moved on the day including the 18 passenger trams in service and many of the trams which were moved for photos during the day. Photographs in this collection were taken by Crich Tramway Village, John Huddlestone, Peter Narramore & Gareth Prior on 10th September 2016.
