Our last gallery featured photos from the 140th Anniversary of the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway and although that was the main reason for a visit to the Isle of Man in early August the other two tramways were also covered and it is the Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway which feature in this collection. We see a number of motors and trailers from the Manx Electric Railway at the three "main" stops on the line of Derby Castle, Laxey and Ramsey but we also see some of the trams in action between Derby Castle and Groudle Glen during early evening wanders along the line. With the timetable for 2016 featuring an advertised run of one of the original two trams no. 2 features heavily in this collection alongside many of the other more usual vehicles. As for the Snaefell Mountain Railway we see the trams both at Laxey and the Summit, the latter location seen in the sun and the mist!
All Photographs in this collection were taken by Gareth Prior in August 2016.
